This is a small tribute to a monumental Edmonton duo. The Bummers played gigs from parties at Artshab to the old Metro stage for a 2008 Cinema-thon as photographed in the cover art here. Caveman poets, they were exuberant and sloppy in the best way possible. With songs like "Teenage Eyeballs" and "You're Not Invited to My BBQ/No Wallet Chain" they won our hearts for a moment before moving on to other bands and whatever else. We've tried to draft off of their energy and brilliant simple songwriting and keep their spirit bopping along. The Bummers Forever
